iPhone 5 Release Date Rumor: Apple to Release Next Generation iPhone on September 21?

Apple fanboys might go crazy with the latest development of iPhone 5. As per an Apple accessory maker, the Cupertino-based tech giant is all set to unleash its next generation iPhone on September 21.

French blog site, App4phone.fr, citing China's third largest accessory maker, has reported that this year's most-awaited phone will finally be released on Friday, September 21, 2012.

In addition, the report indicates that the iPhone will feature a larger screen and a 19-pin dock connector.

While the iPhone 4S' length is 115.2 mm and the phone comes with a 3.5-inch display, the next iPhone will sport at least 123.9 mm length and a bigger screen size of 3.75-inches, claims the French website.

Moreover, the report also informs that the jack port in the new phone will be moved to the lower left corner of the iPhone. Currently, it is located in the upper left corner of the device. It also says that Apple has opted for a smaller connector.

Earlier, report from WSJ claimed that Apple has already begun the production of the next-generation iPhone. It also indicated that the Cupertino tech giant will use the in-cell touch display technology to reduce the thickness and weight of the device.

Japan's Sharp and South Korea's LG, have reportedly begun production of the next-generation displays. Financial Times has also claimed that mobile operators in Europe are stockpiling nano-SIM chips that are especially designed for Apple's next generation iPhone.

Meanwhile, a large number of rumors indicate that the latest iPhone will sport bigger screen, Quantum Dot LED curved glass with 16:9 Aspect Ratio display and 1,136x640 resolution, 367ppi pixel density, iOS 6.0, A6 or "a variation of the A5X's S5L8945X architecture" processor, 1GB RAM, bigger battery and will support 4G or LTE network.
