T-Mobile users, who were unhappy about not having 4G LTE connection till date, might find this news very exciting as the network provider will very soon launch U.S.' first quad-core smartphone.
According to a latest report from TMoNews, HTC One X+, which was earlier rumored as HTC Era 42 is coming to T-Mobile. The phone, like the international version of its predecessor One X, will sport Nvidia's Tegra 3 quad-core processor, says the website.
Androidandme, another prominent tech blog, has also supported the report claiming that the "plus" sign refers to the Tegra 3 plus, and a 1.7GHz processor or it indicate the latest HTC device would be the first smartphone with Qualcomm's new quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 processor. It also claims that the HTC phone will use the stock Android rather than HTC's Sense UI.
Rumors suggest that the latest One X+ might sport the same 4.7-inch display size of One X with 1280x720 pixel HD display. It will have 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD playback and capture, Ice Cream Sandwich and 16GB internal memory and might also have an expandable memory slot with removable battery.
Meanwhile, AndroidAuthority claims that the phone will be a pure Google device.
Release of the phone, according to rumors, is slated for September 26.
