Sprint subscribers have a lot on their plate at the moment. The carrier has been certainly keeping Samsung Galaxy S3 owners busy with updates at regular intervals.
The latest update is labeled L710VPLG4 and rather than sticking to its usual short change log, Sprint decided to lay it all out in the open and bring about some much needed improvements. The changes have been listed below –
- KI – Touch Wiz home has stopped
- Single picture MMS no longer displayed as slideshow
- Optimized LTE system selection
- Enhanced Smart Stay function
- Enhanced Voice recognition algorithm
- All-Share Cast (All-share accessory hub) support
- Music Hub support
- Security Fixes
Very interestingly, apart from all the fixes (which is pretty cool), you may notice that Music Hub support has also been listed. The word “interesting” has been used because Samsung hasn't, as of yet, launched Music Hub in North America. We are confused as to why it has been listed.
You can check the version on your phone. To find the software version on your Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone – Press Home > Menu, Tap Settings, Scroll up and tap About Device, Scroll up and you will find the software version is displayed under Baseband Version.
