Sony's latest gadget, the PlayStation VR, is arriving next week. Here is a round-up of what to expect with the new virtual reality headset.

PlayStation VR Specs
According to Sony, PlayStation VR is a 360-degrees experience for both ears and eyes. The company wants to create gaming experience that can bring imagination into the next level.
The PlayStation VR weighs about 1.3 pounds without the cable and with width of 7.4 inches, height of 7.3 inches and length of 10.9 inches, according to My Gaming. Its screen should have a 1920 x 1080 resolution full-color organic light-emitting diode (OLED) RGB display.
Sony's VR headset is different from other VR headset because it uses Red, Green and Blue sub-pixels in producing a whole pixel. Sony also boasts of low latency, which is "critical to delivering an engaging and comfortable VR experience." According to the tech giant, the PSVR's latency is at 18 milliseconds.
The display can refresh at a rate of 90 hertz (Hz) to 120 Hz, depending on the game or application being used. The PSVR uses reprojection, which means the last image projected at 60 Hz can be created into 120 Hz depending on the head movement of the user.
PlayStation VR Box Inclusions
Sony's VR headset has a small box called Processor Unit that comes with the headset that serves as the connector of to the PlayStation 4 and TV. An HDMI cable management for TV output such as Cinematic Mode and 3D audio processing should also be included.
Other inclusions aside from the headset are the headphones and cables, all of which comes with a price of $399.99.
Another set is the PlayStation VR Launch Bundle that includes the headset, a PlayStation Camera, two PlayStation Move Motion Controllers and a copy of PlayStation VR Worlds. The disc is a compilation of titles that can be experienced with the VR headset.
Problem With Playstation VR
Even before launch, Sony's VR headset is having issues in a report on The Verge. The Processor Unit does not support high definition range (HDR), but good news is that it can support 4K streaming. PSVR's headset is useless because it needs to be unplugged if the user wants to maximize the HDR of the console.
Games That Can Be Played With Playstation VR
There are various games that can be bought for the ultimate virtual reality experience such as "Batman: Arkham VR," "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard," "Farpoints," "Here They Lie," "Statik" and "Bound," according to Sony.
