In preparation for its release of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," Bandai Namco teases players with a trailer tutorial of how coop battles work in the game. A preview of the actual gameplay focusing on Expert Missions shows that players need the help of other Time Patrollers to beat strong enemies. The coop battle is expected to be the first of Bandai Namco's video tutorial series for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2."
Beating The Giant Ape
Prior to the release of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," Bandai Namco started releasing the first tutorial for the game. The featured "Expert Mission" gameplay details how to kill a boss which in this case is the Great Ape Nappa.
From the gameplay preview, a player facing the Great Ape Nappa should be on the lookout for the huge monkey's "Brainwash Attack." This offensive attack removes the player from the fight. Instead of facing the Ape, the player is teleported to the "World of Mind Control" where he needs to defeat his clone to return to the playing field. Controllers can also prevent allies from a "Brainwash Attack." By teaming up with other Time Controllers in a coop battle, it is easier to defeat powerful foes.
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" Beta Version & Official Release
The highly anticipated "Dragonball Xenoverse 2" will have an open beta two weeks before its official release date, Shoryuken reports.
Bandai Namco announced an open and closed beta for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2." The closed beta will only be available to players who pre-order the game in the PlayStation store and it will be open to the select group from Oct. 8 to 10. Meanwhile, all PlayStation players can have access to the open beta scheduled on Oct. 14. There has been no word on a beta for Xbox and PC players and the open beta reminders from Bandai Damco indicate PS4.
Meanwhile, the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" release date for PlayStation and Xbox One is scheduled on Oct. 25 for North America. Game release for the European audience is scheduled on Oct. 28. On the same date, the game would be launched for PC gamers through Steam.
