'Destiny: Rise Of Iron' Review: Messy Supremacy Mode, Archon's Forge Issues, Less Endgame Gear Drops

"Destiny: Rise of Iron" is said to be the final expansion before Bungie ventures to the yet-to-be-announced second installment of the survival game. Despite the honorable praises "Destiny: Rise of Iron" was able to earn from various reviews barely a month after its release in consoles, the game is touted to have things in the pocket to improve on.

Here are a couple of things that Bungie has to consider working on in its next patch:

"Destiny: Rise Of Iron" -- Archon's Forge, Not A Good Source Of Gear Drops

Archon's Forge having issues and irregularities is the major setback in "Rise of Iron." Playing in this event can be difficult beyond expectation. For one, rewards are so limited that waiting for them to drop is never worthwhile. Once there are drops though, it may be a good step for you to increase to your higher Light level up to 385. While Guardians can only take hold of one offering at a time, which means waiting for another Exotic drop spans around a couple of few minutes to hours. Not to mention matchmaking with other Guardians can be grueling.

The moment Guardians exhausted their offerings and no more waves can be played, it can be a tedious job to wait for another couple of hours to be able to jump right into another group to play with. What Bungie can approve from here is to make Archon's Forge a good source of high-level endgame gear drops that are worth the time and effort.

"Destiny: Rise Of Iron" -- Supremacy, An Absolute Mess

Supremacy, "Destiny's" new PVP game mode, is considered an "absolute mess" by a review when Guardians are in close quarter fights. This is due to the meager amount of time to battle it out against your enemies. Even so, the game mode still works way better on the four new maps brought by "Rise of Iron."

Overall though, "Rise of Iron" remains to be a massive survival game. With the comeback of Iron Banner along with a new Quest, the Trials of Osiris and a lot more events coming in the next months, "Destiny: Rise of Iron" still has everything in the pipeline readied to be revealed soon.
