The twentieth patch for League of Legends' season 6 is here, or Patch 6.20. Developer Riot Games released the new patch notes for 6.20; four champions recieved the Sailor Moon-inspired Star Guardian skin, balance changes are made, and a new champion makes an appearance. As the season comes to a close this coming November, what can we expect during the down time?
New Champion
A new champion enters the fray. The peculiar half-man half-tree Ivern Bramblefoot, also known to many as the Green Father. This guy is a walking greenthumb as he "cultivates life wherever he goes." According to the Champion's Insight, "In League, everybody is trying to kill everybody else. Despite their personalities or backstories, champs are all really on the Rift to do one thing: drain some health bars.So, what if we made a nice guy? One who, no matter where he is, just wants to do something super sweet like save all the animals? Enter Ivern, the druid with the heart of gold."
Sketching a pacifist champion was a bit of a challenge but the developers knew who they want Ivern to be. This champion says nice things instead of insults when you smash the taunt button.
Balance Changes
Ashe
- Crit slow is stronger but decays faster
- Flurry damage is lower
Cho Gath
- Feral Scream cooldown gets reduced from 13 seconds to 9
- Added range from 585 to 650
- Silence Duration is less
Jinx
- Flame Chompers base damage is reduced
- Mana cost increased to 70
Nunu
- Base Attack increased
- Consume now gives a stacking buff
- Absolute Zero is now an increasing slow over the duration of the ultimate
Taliyah
- Base health regen increased by one
- Threaded Volley cooldown decreased
Vladimir
- AP ratio increased on Transfusion and Tides of blood
- Q-healing on minions decreased effectiveness
Star Guardians
The star guardian skin comes to Janna, Jinx, Lulu and Poppy.
