Kim Kardashian's Husband Kanye West Fired 30 Staff After A Failed Yeezy Season 4 Fashion Show

Kim Kardashian's husband Kanye West was reportedly in a state of "massive meltdown" and had most of his staff fired after a much-criticized, failed Yeezy fashion show during the New York Fashion Week in September.

According to Daily Mail, Kanye fired 30 of his fashion staff after Yeezy season 4 turned into an obviously disastrous event and received numerous negative comments. An insider described how the hiphop artist expressed his wrath after the fashion show flop by firing his staff.

Yeezy season 4 was expected to be a better event, following the success of the season 3 in February. Unfortunately, the show apparently had been less inspiring and received more criticisms than appreciation as clothing and apparel critics, bloggers, news and media men who were invited to attend the show judged it a total failure.

According to reports, the show that was held on a humid morning had most of the models fainted, while some others looked uncomfortable in what they described as ill-fitting shoes. Reviews for the fashion show ranged from "uncomfortable" to "horrible," with some others saying the almost-naked look of the models is not at all appropriate for an outside, morning event.

Adding to this, editor for New York Magazine's "The Cut," Stella Bugbee, had a series of tweets posted during the fashion show, where she updated the world of every detail of the show. She said in one of her tweets that she felt like she needed to leave because of the miserable looking models but was obliged to stay to see what happens to them. She even addressed a tweet to Adidas, where she said Adidas should be ashamed.

The editor even expressed how she would not want to write anything about the show.

With all these reactions to the show, West was reported to have a nervous breakdown, which later caused him to instantly fire his people, an unnamed source said. "He had his agent fire all 30 of his staff after the fashion show and got rid of his phone so people can only contact him via email."

However, another unrevealed source released a counter statement, saying: "He didn't have a 'nervous breakdown. Some people got let go, and there was a reorganization of others who he moved back to the music side of things. He's a grownup. He was reflective and disappointed in how things went. He took stock in what people were saying and he was disappointed. But he's more determined than ever to get that stuff right. And as far as throwing away his cellphone? If he did, then it's not the first time. He always does that."
