ZTE is launching the Flash smartphone on Sprint this October, a leaked document from the network provider suggests.
According to Talk Android, a leaked document from Sprint indicates that ZTE, the LTE-enabled smartphone, is soon releasing its first U.S. smartphone with some pretty decent features. The phone is slated for an October 14, 2012 release.
Flash will sport a 4.5-inch IPS 720p display with 1280 x 720 resolutions, Gorilla Glass protection, a skyrocketing 12.6 megapixel rear camera, and 1MP front facing camera. Inside, it will pack in a Snapdragon S4 platform with 1.5GHz dual-core Krait processor, Adreno 225 graphics, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, microSDXC slot, 1780mAh battery, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, not Jelly Bean. But, at the time of launch, the maker of the phone might also decide to pack in the 4.1 Jelly Bean version, the folks at the Talk Android hope.
Meanwhile, the company has already announced its plans for releasing Grand X model in Europe and Asia Pacific in the third quarter.
Details about the pricing have not been released yet.
Sprint, however, has not confirmed the report.
