Mafia 3 Update: Action-Adventure Game Has Three Story Expansions and Free Content; Three Secret Achievements Added

Mafia 3 will be released on Oct. 7 and Hangar, the game's developer, announced that the game includes a three story expansion aside from its content. Mafia 3 fans are already aware that the game will have paid and free content but only recently did the developer announced the three story expansion included in the game.

Some of the Mafia 3 free content include gold weapons and new clothes for Lincoln, the game's main character. These free content will have recurring appearances throughout the game but will only be free 30 days after the launch date. Other free contents include races to give the character more opportunities to earn money as well as vehicle customizations.

Mafia 3 first story expansion is called "Faster, Baby!" where players will help Lincoln find an old girlfriend called Roxy Laveau. Lincoln will ask her for help to battle a corrupt police sheriff.

The second story focuses on Lincoln following the lead given by Father James about a cult. Lincoln will find evidence whether the group is responsible for the ritualistic murders happening in the city. This second story expansion is called "Sign of the Times."

The third story expansion called "Stones Unturned" will take Lincoln to Vietnam as he helps CIA Agent John Donovan track down an old enemy of theirs. Blood will flow as the enemies come face-to-face with each other once again in a foreign land.

Aside from Mafia 3 story expansion, the recently released achievement list for the game contains three secret achievements which can earn players more extra points.

Each of the story expansion can be bought separately at $39.99 each. They can also purchase it as part of the Mafia 3 Season Pass at $29.99.

Mafia 3 is available in XBox One, PS4, and PC. Is it really a wise move for Mafia 3 to include three story expansions? The answer will be known once the game hits the stores a day from now.
