Those who are looking forward to buying and installing Call of Duty Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered on their PC might consider getting a bigger data storage (in case there's none yet) because it will demand a lot of HDD space.
It is already expected that Call of Duty Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered will be very bulky since both of them are two separate games being sold separately. A recent blog post on the Charlie Intel website featuring the Call of Duty Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered box indicated that the total install size of the game in PlayStation 4 is 130 GB. However, the version that was featured in the website is the French version so there are speculations that size requirement might vary in every region although there have no announcements or confirmation yet.
The large HD requirement of the game, which is the PS4 version, might be because of the PlayStation Pro support it has which will allow players to also play the game at 4K or on the new PS console. However, players need to get the patch as soon it is released since the game is the same across all PlayStation 4 platforms.
Along with that amount, many questions are raised whether the 6MP Maps that will soon be released to Modern Warfare Remastered is already included in the 130 GB minimum requirement indicated in the box or it will require additional space.
There hasn't been any Call of Duty news yet whether XBox One will also have the same minimum requirements as the PS4 version. There might be some difference since Microsoft is quite flexible when it comes to installing multiple games in a single disc. Many fans are hoping that Call of Duty will be kinder to Legacy edition owners and will let them install one disc or the other since 130GB will hog a lot of storage space.
