Rise Of The Tomb Raider Is Giving Free 100,000 In-Game Credits Next Week

Rise of the Tomb Raider fans will be doubly happy when it gets released next week because it is giving away free 100,000 in-game credits next week. The announcement was made by Crystal Dynamics, the game's developer on their official blog.

According to Crystal Dynamics, those who are going to play the Rise of the Tomb Raider next week on any platforms will be given 100,000 credits so they can purchase the Expedition Pack of the Game. The freebie is with regards to the anniversary celebration of the game for being in the market for 20 years since its release.

Rise of the Tomb Raider promo will be effective from October 11 to October 18 at 11:59 Pacific Time. That means XBox One, XBox 360, PS4, and PC gamers can avail the promo. All they need is an internet connection to log into the server.

When players buy the Expedition Pack, they can use it as modifiers in the extra game modes. Some of these extra games are called Lara's Nightmare and Co-op Endurance, and Remnant Resistance. They can also use it to modify Lara Croft and her costume. Or they can also make some alterations to the gameplay using the Expedition Pack.

Rise of the Tomb Raider players can earn credit in-game or they can purchase them in the store. However, 100,000 free credits is already big enough for starters and will allow them to purchase different packs. The Gold Pack is the most expensive costing 60,000 credits and containing five random cards, one of which is a rare one.

Other Rise of the Tomb Raider packs are Silver, Advantage, Wild, and Challenge Packs which cost 20,000 credits each while the Bronze Pack is the cheapest for 5,000 credits. Aside from the Bronze pack, each pack has their own unique card that will give the players an advantage during the game.

The Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20th Anniversary Celebration will be released on October 11. The PS4 version has a PlayStation VR support which allows the players to unlock the mysteries that lie in the Croft Manor "in first-person." All the DLC content of the game is already included upon purchase; thus PS4 players should not expect a Season pass for the game.
