Apple has been creating MacBook laptops unlike any other laptops. Last year, the tech giant has released MacBook Pro 2015 with a good feedback from its consumers and even from those who criticize the tech giant's products. Will the MacBook Pro 2016 be the same?
MacBook Pro 2016's Rumored Specs
According to Mac World, MacBook Pro 2016 will not be the thinnest laptop ever, but it should be thinner and lighter than its predecessor. It is not expected that it will be as thin as the 12-inch MacBook, because then the line between the two MacBooks will be blurred.
Another innovative move by Apple is using organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display touch bar that will replace the physical function keys. This new feature will sit atop the keyboard with differing functions depending on the current program being used.
As for its display, it is still expected to feature Retina, but with 5K resolution. There are also talks about a multi-touch function, as per 9to5mac.
The Cupertino-based company might also remove the headphone jack, as it did with the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. They have previously sent out surveys to MacBook Pro users, with one of the questions asking if they use the audio port.
Other features that are gladly welcomed are the rumored TouchID functionality, a new processor that is perhaps the Intel Kaby Lake and the butterfly keyboard mechanism that has already been introduced with the 12-inch Apple laptop.
A Jet Black color is on the wishlist, too, seeing as how it proved to be the most popular color option in the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.
When Will MacBook Pro 2016 Be Available?
MacBook Pro 2016 is rumored to be available on Oct. 24. However, Apple has not yet officially confirmed an event on the said date nor in any other date in October.
