More great news from the “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3” front. According to a new report, there will be a brand new content drop in September for “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.”
The site, MP1st, had gathered a host of screenshots and even a video footage of one of the levels, which has since been taken down. The report also stated that the September content drop would add three new maps to the game.
The three remaining maps, rumored to be September’s DLC drops, Gulch, Parish and Boardwalk, are yet to be officially revealed, though allegedly leaked in-game images of what these maps might look like have surfaced by YouTuber Gamecheat13.
While Gulch is a rather sandy level set around a Utah mining village, Boardwalk is set on a pier, and Parish is set in and around the shell of a cathedral.
As far August is concerned, two spec ops missions have already been confirmed, as well as one “classified” piece of content contemplated to be a brand new game mode. A sweepstakes was only recently set up for fans to preview this new game mode, though it is now closed.
Activision is yet to comment on the leaked footage.
