It is expected that Overwatch will receive more additional contents soon enough.

As the Halloween approaches next month, it is expected that Overwatch will host a special Halloween-themed event. Though, not long enough as Xbox Store listed that the game will celebrate the spookiest time of the year with its upcoming event dubbed as 'Halloween Terror.' If the details are accurate enough, the Halloween loot boxes will be available until November 1 at 4PM, PT. These loot boxes include several Halloween-themed items such as skins, sprays, highlight intros, player icons, credits and more.

Based on the reports from VG247, the upcoming Halloween event from Overwatch might reveal something interesting. As seen on the image of Halloween loot boxes posted on the Xbox Store, it depicts the skull logo which leads to the most controversial upcoming character Sombra. On the other hand, unlike Overwatch's summer games event, it seems like the next event would not feature limited game mode. However, it is perhaps Blizzard is still busy for the rumored new characters and maps to be added in the game.

Overwatch game director has not released any in-depth information about the topic but hinted that these future contents are currently under development and will head out soon. It is suggested to wait for their official announcement before heading into a conclusion.
