Ubisoft has released an entirely new Co-Op walkthrough video for its upcoming first person shooter, “Far Cry 3.” In this walkthrough, Ditte, Game Designer on “Far Cry 3,” gives us exclusive insights on the co-op mode and the features that are set to arrive as soon as the final game hits the store shelves.
"Far Cry 3" is set on a tropical island somewhere at the junction of the Indian and Pacific Oceans, and will run on the integrated Dunia Engine that was used for “Far Cry 2” but will use an advanced water tech to provide more depth to the gameplay experience.
The upcoming “Far Cry” game returns the series to a tropical island setting, similar to the first game. Players will assume the role of protagonist Jason Brody, a tourist who has been trapped on an island chain in the grips of violent local conflict for years. Jason has been separated from his girlfriend and, in his search for her, developers have stated he will have to deal with a wide cast of mostly unstable characters who have been stranded on these islands for some time.
“Far Cry 3” is currently planned for a November 30 release on current generation consoles – Xbox 360 and PlayStation3 – and PC.
