Another Dishonored 2 trailer has been released and it looks like the two playable characters, Emily and Corvo, have each of their own unique and supernatural abilities.
The Dishonored 2 trailer showed that there's more than meets the eye to Emily's character making her more formidable while Corvo has new acquired abilities. Corvo, who was the main character in Dishonored 1, can use his Blink ability to escape dangers without being seen. Blink, of course, is an old ability but it becomes much better in Dishonored 2. In addition to that is the ability to possess his enemies and destroy their defenses. Emily, on the other hand, has the Mesmerize ability which she uses to distract or disarm her enemies.
Since both Dishonored 2 characters are awesome and have amazing abilities, many players are asking which character is better. The answer is simple: players who want to have the classic experience should go for Corvo. On the other hand, for those who arre looking for a new set of powers and abilities, Emily Kaldwin is the perfect choice. Aside from that, Emily is stealthier and more creative than Corvo but what he lacks in creativity, he makes up for strength.
Corvo using Blink while in the middle of a combat is quite difficult to do, so if Dishonored 2 players want to pull it off while in the middle of a fight, they have to use Corvo's time-bending skills to gain an advantage.
Emily's inventive abilities are as lethal as their names. Three outstanding ones are called Shadow Walk, Domino, and Far Reach. Shadow Walk makes her invisible and is very effective is players want to walk behind their enemies undetected before removing their guts out. However, it cannot be used to escape in combat.
Dishonored 2 character, Domino, like the name suggests, produces a domino-like effect where all Emily's enemies all die the same way by simply tagging one of them. Far Reach, on the other hand, is similar to Blink but far better because it lets Emily throw her enemies up the air and bring them towards her for the final kill.
