Sony Xperia SL Leaked Image Re-surfaces, Indicates Powerful Processor

After being leaked in blue and pink avatar last month, the unannounced Sony Xperia SL has again been spotted with three other colors versions: black, silver, and white.

According to ePrice (translated), Xperia SL, Xperia S' successor, will feature not only vibrant colors but also a more powerful dual-core, 1.7GHz Snapdragon S3 processor with MSM8260 chipset. Earlier reports claimed that the SL smartphone will come with a 1.5GHz chip.

The leaked images confirmed that the SL phone will sport a HDMI port, a centered volume rocker, and a dedicated camera button.

Meanwhile, some other reports claim that Sony will pack in Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and not 4.1 Jelly Bean as OS.

Sony is expected to unveil the SL smartphone on August 29 at the pre-IFA event in Berlin, alongside two other new smartphones Xperia J, and the LT29i Hayabusa.

According to various rumors, Xperia J aka ST26i will be an entry-level device. The J smartphone will feature a regular candybar design with 4-inch WVGA touchscreen with 854x480 pixels resolution, Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, 1GHz single-core Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G with HSPA and Bluetooth.

LT29i Hayabusa, on the other hand, is expected to be an 8.6 mm thick and 127 grams light-weighted device. Rumors claim that Hayabusa will have a 4.55-inch HD 720 x 1280 display, Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, 1GB of RAM, a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, Adreno 225 GPU, 13MP rear camera with LED flash, and NFC connectivity, a 1,700mAh battery and a microSD card slot.
