Resident Evil 6 – Ada Wong Campaign, Agent Hunt Gameplay Trailers Revealed

Capcom’s upcoming dramatic horror title “Resident Evil 6” has now received a new – fourth – campaign mode that will be available when the final game hits the store shelves all over. The players, here, will take the role of Ada Wong.

However, to celebrate the revelation, the company has released a new gameplay trailer from that campaign (can be viewed below), and what’s more, a new video from the “Agent Hunt mode” has been revealed. Leon S. Kennedy and Chris Redfield are joined by new characters, including Jake Muller, to face a new horror, the highly virulent C-virus. The narrative is quite impressive and moves between North America, the war-torn Eastern European state of Edonia and the Chinese city of Lanshiang.

“Resident Evil 6” will allow players to select between three scenarios with connected storylines. A fourth storyline will be automatically unlocked after the player has finished the other three. The game will have two primary enemies, including the returning zombies and the newly introduced J'avo. Unlike zombies, J'avo are able to interact with each other to plan an attack, to use weapons and to heal themselves.

“It has been over ten years since the Raccoon City incident and the President of the United States has decided to reveal the truth behind what took place in the belief that it will curb the current resurgence in bioterrorist activity. Due to be by the President's side is his personal friend and Raccoon City survivor, Leon S. Kennedy, but when the venue suffers a bioterrorist attack, Leon is forced to face a President transformed beyond recognition and make his hardest ever decision,” the game’s official page states. “At the same time, Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance member Chris Redfield arrives in China, itself under threat of a bioterrorist attack. With no country safe from these attacks and the ensuing outbreaks, the entire world's population is united by a common fear that there is no hope left.”

The game is scheduled for an October 2, 2012 release for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and at a later date for Microsoft Windows.
