MacBook Pro 2016 Could Launch In Time For The Holidays

Apple has been quite mum on the matters involving the new MacBook Pro. However, this doesn't necessarily mean that the popular Apple laptop will no longer be succeeded. In fact, it looks like its launch will be coming up in a few weeks. Recent rumors suggest that Apple could be holding an October event this year and it could largely focus on the MacBook Pro 2016.

MacBook Pro 2016: October Launch Remains Possible

It is worth mentioning that Apple is not a stranger to hosting an October event. In fact, the company has been announcing new hardware on the said month for consecutive years prior to 2015. Furthermore, Apple is also known for targeting the holiday shopping season in its launch. These simply suggest that the company might actually be holding a hardware event in the coming weeks.

As of recent reports, more new leaks came out that support this prediction. Apparently, Best Buy has accidentally listed a 2016 edition of iMac on its site. Also, Apple has rescheduled its earnings call. 9to5Mac says that it could probably be because the company is avoiding the "Mac launch to be overshadowed" by the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus' alleged poor sales.

Nevertheless, Apple has not confirmed it yet, so this pretty much remains an educated guess. Needless to say, the possibility that these fan predictions are true is still sky-high. Do take note that MacBook Pro 2016 rumors have been around the web for quite a while. Its specs sheet has even been completed over time.

According to the accumulated reports, the MacBook Pro 2016 could be very improved both physically and internally. It was said that the laptop will make use of an OLED touch bar as a replacement for the old function bar. There will also be more than one USB-C ports.

On the inside, the device could be powered by Intel's newer processor. It could either be the Intel Kaby Lake or the Intel Skylake.
