Destiny: Rise of Iron Multiplayer Guide: How To Survive The Crucible Mode

Destiny: Rise of Iron players must have known by now that every time Bungie releases a new content for the game, it also sorts of disrupts the whole gameplay as players shoot their way through new missions, raids and cooperative strikes all in the name of becoming a legend in the 'Destiny' world. And the latest of these additions is the Crucible mode, the competitive multiplayer mode which has undergone a lot of changes in the last two years. This Destiny: Rise of Iron Multiplayer Guide will help speed up players who want to survive the Crucible mode.

For starters, it is fun to know that the Crucible mode does not factor a player's light level because everything boils down to speed. In simple terms, a level 10 Guardian can easily take a level 40 if he is faster than the other. On the other hand, higher level Guardians have an advantage over lower ones in terms of weapons and gears that's because Exotic and Legendary weapons take much faster to reload. Moreover, each class has their own subset of abilities so the higher the level the more abilities they have.

Destiny: Rise of Iron Crucible has different game modes with different objectives. For starters, here are the 11 basic game modes, namely control, inferno control, clash, mayhem clash, inferno clash, elimination, rift, rumble, mayhem rumble, skirmish, supremacy, salvage, and zone control.

In control, Destiny: Rise of Iron players earn points by capturing and defending flags which can be done by simply standing inside the glowing circle around it until the meter fills up. Inferno control is a 6v6 match where points are added with the number of kills the player makes. Clash works the same way as inferno control except that it is a death match where the goal is to reach the point total of the match. Mayhem Clash and Inferno clash work the same way as clash but the former is a supercharge version while the latter disables radars.

Elimination is a 3v3 match where the team that matches five points first wins. Rift is another 6v6 match where the objective of the game is for the team to bring the "spark" at the center of the arena towards the other team's spawn point or "rift." Rumble and Mayhem Rumble, like the name suggests, are a free-for-all fight involving six people where the player with the highest point wins.

Destiny: Rise of Iron Skirmish is a 3v3 game where the objective is to kill anyone in the opposing team. However, players can be revived which gives more extra points. Meanwhile, Salvage is 3v3 combination of control and skirmish where the objective is to find and capture the location that spawns occasionally. In supremacy, players earn points after taking crests from the opposing team. Last is zone control where a player loads a shotgun hiding in the corner and camp the flag until the enemy quits.
