Clash of Clans will soon have a major update in the coming days. One of the new features is the Friendly Wars.
Clash Of Clans: Friendly Wars - What Is It?
Friendly Wars is also known as Arranged Wars. Basically, Clash of Clans players who want to wage friendly wars can set their own terms. The battle preparation and time can be customized according to what is agreed upon by the clans. Supercell has a promo video briefly explaining the mechanics of the new feature.
Clash Of Clans: Friendly Wars Rules
Clash of Clans players can initiate a Friendly War invite to their counterparts through their profiles. Once the opposing clan accepted the invitation via clan chat, preparation begins. It seems similar to Clan Wars except for the settings.
In Friendly Wars, challenges can be disabled and results are readily posted to the war log. The duration of the Friendly Wars could also be customized. The shortest time possible is about one hour. The number of opposing clans is also adjustable each sides can have as low as five clans to as many as 50.
Friendly War armies are not expended with the exception of Clam Castle soldiers who are unleashing during the battle. However, there also no awards, loot or clan XP points given to the victors of Friendly Wars. This is the major difference or disadvantage of Friendly Wars compared to Clan Wars.
Clash of Clans: Friendly Wars Versus Clan Wars
Clash of Clans developer Supercell said that Friendly Wars is never intended to replace Clan Wars. It's a war where clans can test their new troops, war structures and strategy without permanently losing them.
Clash of Clans players are also not allowed to wage Friendly Wars while a Clan War is in progress. Friendly Wars and other new features are expected to be unveiled real soon.
