This year's New York Comic Con was awed to see "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" villains unveiled. The mutagen-induced Super Shredder and the dragon Kavaxas both had a menacing look about them. However, spoiler announcements did not bring that much surprise to fans as the highlight was the presence of WWE Hall of Famer Sting. Sting appeared after a new collaboration between the Turtles and the WWE Network was announced.
Preview of Two New Characters
During the TMNT panel at the New York Comic Con on Oct. 7, creators of the animated series revealed that there will be two new characters. Shredder makes a comeback as a mutant; this time he is even bigger and meaner than ever. The teasers show Karai being introduced to Super Shredder and she accused him of being a mutant, the one thing that he always hated. Super Shredder is bound to make his appearance on Nov. 6 for the fourth season of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" in Nickelodeon.
Aside from the regular villain in the series, reports reveal that an addition to Turtle cast will be added in season 5. The preview shows Tiger Claw summoning the demon dragon Kavaxas who will wreak havoc in New York City. Mark Hamill, who played Luke Skywalker in the "Star Wars" films, would be the voice behind the mythical dragon enemy that the Turtles would be facing in TMNT season 5.
Mutant Turtles Meet WWE Superstars
Out of all the things that shocked fans during the Comic Con panel, it was the appearance of WWE Hall of Famer Sting that caught everyone off guard. TMNT Executive Producer Ciro Nieli went on to announce the latest crossover partnership with WWE for a new toy line.
WWE Superstars will be immortalized by combining one Turtle with a superstar. In the toy version, Michelangelo plays Macho Man Randy Savage, Donatello as Undertaker, Leonardo as John Cena, and Raphael as Sting. Sting made an appearance during the panel to give away free "Ninja Superstars" to select fans.
