Ever since the trailer for "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" was released a few days ago, there have been many speculations surfaced online. Among one of them is the possibility of Johnny Depp no longer the lead in upcoming film.

The official trailer for the fifth installment of "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies entitled "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" was just recently released. Much to everyone's surprise, the lead role of the film, Johnny Depp was nowhere to be seen in the entire span of the trailer. This has then led to the assumptions that his role as the lead in the movie may already be replaced by Orlando Bloom's character.

Johnny Depp plays the role of Captain Jack Sparrow in all of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie installments while Orlando Bloom plays the role of Will Turner. There have been other speculations claiming that Depp might still be in the movie. However his absence in the trailer might just be a marketing strategy. Everyone is well aware of his issues in his personal life and the network may have just been waiting for the issues to die down.

Even though Captain Jack Sparrow was not seen in the trailer, he was still mentioned and this could mean he is still in the movie, and will take the lead role. The trailer has generated more questions that have led to the fans' excitement and anticipation of the movie. In addition to that, there has also been a recently released poster of "Pirates of the Caribbean" film, starring Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow.

The director of the film, Joachim Ronning teased the fans of the movies with a very special treat. It is a poster of Jack Sparrow, indicating that he is currently wanted in the upcoming fifth installment of "Pirates of the Caribbean." It was designed differently from the one featured in the official trailer in its most artistic way possible.

"Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" is set to hit the theatres on May 26, 2017.
