Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Tips: Transferring Last Gen Consoles Files To Current Gen Platform

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 1 players will be given the option of transferring their old files to the upcoming DB Xenoverse 2 game. Some of the skills and ultimate moves earned from the previous can also be included.

Bandai Namco Bridging DB Xenoverse 1 And 2

Dragon Ball Xenoverse developer Bandai Namco did not forget the owners of its first game. As a way of saying thank you, Bandai is allowing data such as avatar, skills and moves from the first installment to be installed in the upcoming second Xenoverse, according to the Bitbag.

This is also a wise marketing strategy since this will convince owners of DBX 1 to buy Xenoverse 2. On the part of the players, they do not need to start from the bottom when they play the latest Dragon Ball installment. This arrangement clearly benefits both parties.

Boot Up And Update DB Xenoverse 1

Anime Games Online report that DBX players should first boot up and update the Xenoverse 1 game to its latest version. The moment it's updated, the game's menu will feature an Upload Save Data option. Players should click it to begin the saving.

During the process, players are informed what kind of game data is eligible for transfer to Xenoverse 2 and what isn't. Some of the old costumes and skills may appear or work differently in the second Xenoverse installment.

There is a sort of bad news and good news with the player's old avatar. It could be uploaded to Xenoverse 2. The bad news is players could not use it as a playable character in upcoming game. The good news is that the old avatar will be immortalized as one of the greatest heroes in the game.

Data Transfer to DB Xenoverse 2

Players can transfer the old files during the open beta event for DB Xenoverse on October 14. Players should take note if the old game was taken from the last gen or current gen platform. Once the full Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 copy is released on October 25, repeat this transfer process.
