Speculations have been growing about the much-awaited arrival of the latest iMac 2016 version. Apple enthusiasts insist that its probably the right time for Apple to release a new version of the iMac since its latest version was released several years ago. More clues are showing that the probable release of the iMac 2016, would possibly be at the end of this month.
Features and Price
The enhanced iMac is rumored to be a 27-inch model, sporting the 7th Gen Intel Kaby Lake Core i7 processor. A variant of the iMac 2016 has a 32 GB RAM and 2 TB Fusion Drive. It also has an impressive screen feature, having a Retina 5K display. Additionally, the iMac was listed on the "New" section of Best Buy, just simply implying that it is definitely not an old model. The iMac is anticipated to be priced at $3199.99 value.
Issue on the Intel Kaby Lake
Among all the rumors being swirled, the most indefinite one would probably be the Intel Kaby Lake processor listed for the iMac 2016, which is quite questionable since there are no clear reports yet that Intel has finished delivering the chipsets. This has led to more rumors regarding the Kaby Lake processors not being able to be delivered completely until the end of the year.
Release Date
With this, the recent Best Buy listing of the iMac 2016 is already a sure thing. International Business Times reported that Apple may be preparing for another big press event at the end of October, where the Macbook line will be the highlight of the event.
On Oct. 24, Apple is expected to reveal the new versions of the Macbook Pro and Macbook Air. While the major focal point of the anticipated Apple Event will be on the Macbook laptops, the iMAc will also be expected to be revealed on the same occasion.
