Mass Effect: Andromeda Rumors – Release Date, Details Revealed

Mass Effect: Andromeda is the latest and probably the most anticipated game of the series. The upcoming game will feature characters and story line different from the previous installments.

Shepard fans will have to say goodbye for Shepard and the Reapers for now. Game developer BioWare will feature new characters and another part of space. The overall mission however, does not change - the search for the next human settlement continues.

Mass Effect: Andromeda - Details Known So Far

The upcoming game will no longer focused on Earth but on several planets scattered around in space. The storyline will be set in future well after Commander Shepard's time. The new hero, Ryder is a pathfinder or explorer searching for next human home planet.

BioWare will provide Ryder a ship called the Tempest. The new character will also teach new players about the basic components of the game, according to Digital Trends. The hero will have seven crew members for the ship. Details about at least two of the crew have been leaked. One of them is Drack, a Krogan and Cora, an Asari. Other alien races will also be included such as the "Remants" and the "Khet". The latter seems to be the main villains in the game.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is being developed for the current generation consoles. The upcoming game is bigger than its three predecessors combine in terms of the game's universe. A demo of the upcoming game showed it being played in 4K resolution. However, BioWare admitted that the fps rate of the game will fixed at 30 both for the PlayStation 4 and the Pro.

Mass Effect: Andromeda - Expected Release Date

Mass Effect: Andromeda is rumored to be release on March 21, 2017. This is reportedly the same date that the art book, The Art of Mass Effect: Andromeda will also be release, according to IGN. The upcoming game will be made available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
