Tom Clancy Ghost Recon: Future Soldier – PC Update 1.4 Released

Game developer Ubisoft has finally released the eagerly anticipated 'Update 1.4′ for the PC version of their third-person tactical shooter title "Ghost Recon: Future Soldier."

The new update comes with global improvements in FPS for all configurations, as well as fixes for several stability issues that occurred during map loading. Ubisoft has put in a lot of effort into fixing some of the major issues that were present in the PC version of the game.

According to Ubisoft, after the update has been installed, users will be unable to participate in online matches with other players who have not updated. Moreover, this update is currently an optional one but will soon become mandatory (later this week). At that time, Uplay will require players to update their game client in order to play.

Those who are interested in applying the update can do so manually. The update can be downloaded from here. The changelog for the new update and known issues and workarounds are discussed below.
