According to Apple Inc., the initial quantity of apple iPhone 7 is now sold out along with the Jet Black Edition of iPhone 7. Although Apple won't give first day orders or first weekend sales, the released models of iPhone 7 are giving people excitement to buy and own it. The larger sized iPhone with dual lens camera appears to be in demand at it became first sold out worldwide compare to the original sized iPhone 7.
On the first week of the release of the Apple's iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, many news came out that the loss of the headphone jack isn't impacting demand for the people to buy it. But despite this issue, Apple is advancing to more and more positive news, first to hit is for the primary quantity released to be sold out.
"Based on everything I've seen it looks like demand is very strong," analyst Jan Dawson of Jackdaw Research wrote in an email. One of the many benefits of the high demand for the iPhone 7 Plus is the help to average selling prices (ASP). The iPhone’s quarter ASP for 2016 is $595 and that was the lowest since 2014. But it was negatively impacted by the stronger dollar by $20 along with not replenishing higher ASP units in the channel. Depending on the memory configurations that are being bought since the initial models now come with 32GB vs. 16GB the full impact won’t be seen until the December.
Where To Get The New iPhone?
"We sincerely appreciate our customers' patience as we work hard to get the new iPhone into the hands of everyone who wants one as quickly as possible," Apple spokeswoman Trudy Muller said in a statement. She really must say it since more and more people are expected to buy the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus to stores worldwide. It appears that even though people are lining up at Apple stores, there won’t be any inventory of the sold out models to buy. Users will have to order them on-line or wait for more units to become available. Let us hope that there will be more iPhone 7 Plus soon in our nearest stores.
