Leaked Nokia Windows Phone 8 Front Panel Indicates Phone with 4.3-inches Display

A host of leaked Nokia Windows Phone 8 devices are floating around the Internet for past few days and now, a new wave of leaked images have just surfaced.

According to a Know Your Mobile report, the latest leaked image shows the front panel of a smartphone that allegedly comes from a Nokia Windows Phone 8 device. The image of the new Nokia Windows 8 Phone shows a screen size of around 4.3 inches indicating that the device might come with a HD display of 720p resolution. No other information regarding the new Nokia device has been obtained yet.

According to Mashable, the latest leaked image indicates that the new Nokia smartphone will be "a whole lot less boxy than the Lumia 800 or 900, suggesting that we could be looking at a handset that more closely resembles the 610. Instead of that model's tiny 3.7-inch screen, this one measures-in closer to 4.3 inches."

Additionally, other images of Windows Phone 8 device - the Nokia Phi - have been leaked as well. Per the leaked image, it is assumed that the device will have a 4.65-inch display, an external SD card slot, NFC, and 4G LTE. The phone is also reported to be Nokia's flagship Windows Phone 8 device.

Various other rumors indicate that Microsoft will be launching the Windows Phone 8 on Sept. 30. Reports also suggest that Nokia is planning to announce an unknown number of WP8 handsets at its Nokia World 2012 conference, which will take place from September 5-6 in Helsinki, Finland.

The release time of the new WP8 devices has been designed strategically so that the Finnish smartphone maker can tap the year's final holiday season. However, not only Nokia, other smartphone market leaders including Samsung, HTC, Huawei, ZTE, Acer, and Lenovo are also in queue to unleash the WP8 devices this year.

Reportedly, HTC will release Zenith, Accord, and Rio, three high-end, mid-range, and entry-level options, respectively, running on Microsoft's latest Windows Phone 8 OS. Some other reports claim that Samsung's first Windows Phone 8 smartphone will be named Samsung Focus 2.

The newly-unveiled Microsoft OS comes with stunning features like higher screen resolutions, Start Screen with Live Tiles, Nokia Map and multi-core chipset support, NFC, Microsoft Wallet, and more.
