Just when we thought that a black Galaxy S3 is nothing but a hoax, Samsung's UK online retail partner Clove has posted the new model on its Web site detailing its features and availability.
According to Clove, the Galaxy S3 black (model GT-I9300MBMDBTU), will be available in October with 64GB storage capacity. The Web site, however, does not reveal the pricing details of the latest model of Samsung's sensational GS3 smartphone.
Meanwhile, some other Web sites like MobileFun and Expansys have made available the 16GB Galaxy S3 for pre-order at £500. However, no details regarding the date of availability are mentioned on the sites.
The first report of a black Galaxy S3 came from Android Police, which cited an insider at Carphone Warehouse, and reported that Samsung is currently working on the black variant. The report also attached evidence from the company's internal database.
As far as the countries where the black model will release are concerned, U.S. users should not lose heart as the South Korean tech giant will not disappoint them either. The black version of the phone has recently shown up on T-Mobile USA's Web site. The network provider, however, did not reveal the storage capacity of the phone.
Apart from the current Pebble White and Marble Blue models, another version of the S3 - Garnet Red, is also available exclusively on AT&T.
