Galaxy Note 2 Release: Samsung Reveals First Teaser of the Next Generation Phablet

Galaxy Note 2 is coming and it's no more a secret. The Korean tech giant Samsung, expected to unveil the device in another two weeks time, has released the first teaser of its next-generation phablet, claiming that it will surprise us with something beautiful and inspiring this time.

Samsung's 38-second long video teaser for its IFA 2012 event involves director Wim Wenders talking about "all the things you can do in the blink on the eye, on such a small and light thing."

While we do not get to see the full device, we get multiple glimpses of Samsung's S-Pen stylus.

Earlier this month, Samsung officially announced that "We plan to unveil the next Galaxy Note at the Samsung Mobile Unpacked event in Berlin on August 29."

Per the South Korean media reports, the latest Galaxy Note 2 will pack in an unbreakable 5.5-inch display with high resolution Super AMOLED variety. The phone may come with higher WSXGA resolution (1680 x 1050 pixels) with 360ppi pixel density. The next-generation phablet is also expected to feature a better and more powerful quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, Android's latest Jelly Bean operating system, 4G connectivity as standard for all international units, an improved battery, and a 12-megapixel primary camera with an enhanced sensor.
