"The Expendables 2" video game is now officially out. Per latest reports, Ubisoft has announced that its anticipated four-player cooperative shoot 'em up title is now available for Xbox Live and PC for 1200 MSP and $15, respectively. The PSN version of the game will be released on Aug. 22.
According to the game's official page, "Four Expendables (Barney, Gunner, Caesar and Yin Yang) are hired to rescue a kidnapped Chinese billionaire. It's business as usual, until all hell breaks loose and the explosive mix of testosterone and kerosene detonates in a massive fireball that never lets up as the relentless action concludes where the new movie begins."
Get ready to experience intense firepower, massive explosions, and relentless opposition as you play out all of your favorite over-the-top action moments. You will also get to team up with three of your friends for Expendables co-op action. Take on the single-player campaign or compete in the many challenge modes and work together to join the elite ranks.
You will also get a taste of some of the most gratifying finishes ever with a close-up dynamic camera capturing your entire array of stylish signature moves for each Expendables character. Battle it out in foreign terrain where you fight in tactical, assault, stealth, and melee missions from the forested Balkan countryside to the mountainous Somalian deserts, Kowloon industrial docks, Burmese Jungles, and much more.
