‘Mob Psycho 100’ Season 2 News And Updates: Manga Has Enough Material To Cover Series; S2 Highly Possible?

"Mob Psycho 100" recently wrapped up the series with an epic finale after its 12-episode run. With the anime's performance, fans are hopeful that a second season could happen soon. Will Mob, Reigen and the rest of the gang return?

To recall, "Mob Psycho 100" ended with Mob and the rest of the group caught up in a fight with the Claws. Mob, who has been trying his best to hold back his powers from the start, almost loses it and was about to go berserk when his master Reigen snapped him out it. The said incident unintentionally transferred 1000 percent of Mob's powers to Reigen, making him extremely powerful and defeated everyone in a breeze.

With the end of "Mob Psycho 100," fans are wondering if a second season will get the green light. Although not as extremely popular as "One Punch Man," which was also created by the same creator, "Mob Psycho 100" has been relatively successful to consider pushing a sequel.

According to reports, Bones Studio alongside an increasing number of fans, are optimistic about "Mob Psycho 100" Season 2. With its interesting storyline and animation, the potential of a successful sequel is highly achievable. However, there are certain factors to consider in order for this to push through.

One of the key factors to consider is the material to be used. Fans believe that the current webcomic material is sufficient enough to cover "Mob Psycho 100" Season 2. According to reports, the first installment used up 50 out of 97 chapters released by creator ONE and aired a new chapter weekly. With the same sequence, the materials should be enough for another 12-episode run next season.

If "Mob Psycho 100" Season 2 did come to fruition and director Yuzuru Tachikawa returns to handle the anime, it is likely that the storyline will stick to the manga version. In an interview, the director revealed that he wants to keep the anime adaptation faithful to the original source as much as possible. Given that it will cover the manga's storyline, it is expected that Mob and Reigen will be in for bigger adventures and challenges as psychic detectives.

As of this writing, there has been no solid confirmation and details regarding "Mob Psycho 100" Season 2. Fans will have to wait patiently before seeing Mob and the gang as they return for a new adventure.
