Ubisoft has announced a new DLC package for “Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier” called “Raven Strike.”
Ubisoft, reportedly, is working on more DLC packages so that the game’s most dedicated players have more content to play with later. Although the DLC will cost 1200 MSP (which is quite a bit), it will add more campaign missions.
“A throwback to traditional Ghost Recon gameplay, Raven Strike features larger maps, complex missions and an increased level of difficulty. It contains three campaign missions and a new Guerilla Mode map, each playable with up to four players. Raven Strike will be available on September 11th, 2012 for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the Sony PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system,” the official page states.
The three new missions in Campaign Mode are as follows:
- Secure Dawn: A foggy marsh in Kazakhstan where the Ghosts will not be allowed access to advanced technology (no optical camouflage, drone or sensor grenade).
- Cold Walker: A train depot on the Russian countryside.
- Argent Thunder: A night time urban setting in Moscow.
Additionally, a new map in the Guerrilla Mode - called Sawmill (face 50 waves of enemies on a foggy Russian countryside) - will be available.
“Ghost Recon: Future soldier” was released only a few months ago and boasted a favorable critical response. The game has also topped the UK charts regularly.
