Sombra Revealed in Overwatch Halloween Terror Event? Sombra Transmission Almost Complete

There is a possibility that Sombra may be revealed during the Overwatch Halloween Terror event. There are several events that seemed to bolster this theory.

Sombra Transmission Progress

The amomentincrime website indicates that Sombra is more than 93 percent complete as of press time. If the counter continues its steady pace the transmission will be 100 percent complete on Oct. 17 at the latest.

Sombra Image Leaked?

An alleged image of Sombra has been circulating the Net lately. The screenshot was reportedly taken from a Blizzard internal site. There is the possibility that the image is a fake but the accompanying text seemed to give further proof that this is the real Sombra. Blizzard for its part has continued to remain silent on the matter. The image showed a young Hispanic looking woman wearing a purple trench coat. She is armed with a weapon that closely resembles an MP5 or an Uzi.

Sombra Information Confirms Speculations

The information contained in the screenshot mostly confirms the earlier speculations about her. She is definitely a Latina and a computer hacker. She worked with several criminal organizations such as the Los Muertos and Talon. But there hints that she may have been orphaned at an early age because everything was taken from her at the height of the Omnic Crisis. This also definitely rules out the rumor about her being an Omnic.

Sombra Gatecrashing The Overwatch Halloween Terror Party?

The Overwatch Halloween Terror Party is currently ongoing and will last until November 1. Is there a chance that Sombra might make it to the party since she will be in theory ready by October 17? Blizzard did tease about her in the Overwatch Halloween loot boxes. One of the purple candies just below Reaper is Sombra's Skull logo. Is this Blizzard's subtle hint that the 23rd character for Overwatch will make her grand entrance at the Halloween party?
