Grand Warden's Life Aura in Clash of Clans is a passive ability, which gives players a huge percentage boost in terms of HP to units affected. This can be seen with a circle surrounding it. It's worth noting, though that the HP increase (70 to 275) depends on the character's current level (1 to 20).
As for the Clash of Clans hero's Eternal Tome, it's an active ability that can only be unlocked once level 5 is reached. After which, the skill's power and effectiveness increases in a 5-level interval. Once Grand Warden's Eternal Tome is triggered, everything under its aura will become invincible for a certain time period (3.5 to 5 seconds).
