Starbucks has been tagged as one of the most successful chain of coffee in the whole world. But with the huge success that the coffee company is getting all these years, they think of more ways to innovate with their product offering. Thus, they have come up with a shot that stirred many reactions amongst espresso and beer fans: Beer Mixed with Espresso.
According to Fox News, the latest innovation of Starbucks would be called an Espresso Cloud. Being the first of its kind, the improvement was developed by Justin Burns Beach, a bartender-barista in the coffee chain. He worked at Starbucks Phoenix for eight years and then ended up working at the Starbucks Reserve Roastery & Tasting Room wherein he is responsible for creating new drinks and coffee pairings.
As Fortune described, the Espresso cloud is an ice-shaken espresso topped with the fresh IPA. What made it more exciting is that it is served with an extra shot of espresso. It could be shot separately or combine it in beer to get a picture-perfect shot.
The Starbucks described the product as this:
"shaken over ice with orange pieces and a touch of sweet vanilla. Shaking the espresso produces a rich cloud of micro-foam with accents of citrus and vanilla. The foam is layered on top of a freshly poured IPA, and the beer is served with the cold-shaken espresso shot on the side."
Avid customers would not be worried as how they would find the innovation. They could order it at franchises that are serving the "Starbucks Evenings" menu.
The chain company has been doing innovations after innovations. From a beer with espresso to unique frappuccinos, coffee lovers are still waiting what could the Starbucks company revealed next.
