Just another day to go before the world witnesses the unveiling of Samsung's Galaxy Note 2 at IFA 2012 in Berlin, Germany. However, it seems that the Samsung enthusiasts cannot wait anymore and, therefore, news of leaked images and specs of the next-gen Galaxy Note are pouring in.
The recent report is courtesy a Korean newspaper and claims that the Galaxy Note 2 will sport a monstrous 5.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with 1280x720 resolution, a quad-core 1.4GHz Exynos 4412 CPU, an 8-megapixel primary snapper (earlier it was rumored to be a whopping 12-megapixel one), Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and will come in 16 and 32GB versions. Samsung may also launch some new color variants for the next-gen phablet, reported a Seoul newspaper.
Moreover, the new phone will support 3G and 4G LTE networks and will also sport the original's S-Pen Stylus.
If the current leaked specs hold true for the Galaxy Note 2, they may not bring any major improvements. However, if the upcoming Samsung smartphone features Jelly Bean, as claimed by the report, it may well be the first non-Nexus phone to ship with Android's latest OS.
