Jimmy Kimmel And Homer Simpsons Tours Springfield To Celebrate ‘The Simpsons’ 600th Episode

As a tribute to “The Simpsons” 600th episode, Jimmy Kimmel visited Homer Simpsons, who has wholeheartedly taken the talk show host on a personal tour of the famous Springfield, home to “The Simpsons” for 27 years.

The latest episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” presented “The Simpsons” 600th episode until Kimmel was suddenly sucked into the animated series and stepped out of the TV in the famous “The Simpsons” living room.Kimmel was greeted by Homer Simpson himself after the latter was complaining about how all he wanted to see on the late night show was singing in the car. After Kimmel introduced himself, Homer Simpson took him on a tour around Springfield.

They visited the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, the pub where the good booze is served, and the school where “The Simpsons” kids go to, and to which Kimmel wittingly wrote on the blackboard “I will not make celebrities read mean tweets”. The surprise visit ended after Jimmy Kimmel finally met “The Simpsons” baby, Maggie Simpson. Homer Simpson even referred to Kimmel as one of the Jimmys as he waved goodbye to the late night host who returned to the real world.

“Jimmy Kimmel Live!” aired its latest episode in an animated form to feature and celebrate the “The Simpsons” 600th episode, which will be aired this Sunday. “The Simpsons” series has been around for decades since it made its debut as an animated sitcom on December 17, 1989. The animated series is in its 28th season, which started its broadcast on September 25, 2016. The 28th season includes “The Simpsons” 600th episode, which is the fourth episode of the current season and has been titled “Treehouse of Horror XXVII.” It is illustrated to be about Mr. Burns introducing a Hunger Games-inspired competition in which Springfield’s children will fight each other for a day. “The Simpsons” 600th episode is set to air this October 16 on Fox.
