Google Now is one of the most interesting and helpful features of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and according to reports, Google has pushed out a brand new update that adds new stuff to the already impressive Google Now.
Arriving with the newest version of the Google Search app, the update has added two new pop-up cards to Google Now's armory: movie showtimes and public emergency alerts. Movie showtimes is scheduled to appear whenever the user is near a movie theater, or even on particular days when Google detects that the users have been fidgeting around for show timings.
The emergency alerts, on the other hand, are set to pop up automatically whenever there's been a public warning about a natural calamity such as an earthquake, storm, or similar event.
The new update, according to the official Android page on Google+, has also added Korean support, and even lets users set their preferred Sports teams for Google Now to gather vast and updated information. This addition is an improvement on what Google did previously i.e. utilizing users' search history to determine the kind of information they would like to obtain.
Note that the update only works on devices running Android 4.1 or higher; however, anyone using a Jelly Bean device can download the update from the Play Store now.
