Following the violent death of Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig), Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) grieves and struggles with her life and family. Meanwhile, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) who is also in pain for the loss of his son , might be getting closer to Nelle Hayes (Chloe Lanier).
After the tragic fate of her son, Morgan, Carly decided to leave Sonny and move back into her old house with Josslyn. She wants to move on from him and even regrets re-marrying him last year. Jason Morgan (Billy Miller), who has been her solid support ever since grieves with her and tries his best to comfort her. However, with everything that has happened, even he knows that he is not all that Carly needs right now.
He feels like Sonny should be the one to be grieving with Carly right now since they both lost a son. He tries to convince Carly that maybe someone else set a bomb for Julian, but it just wasn't believable, even for himself.
Meanwhile, Sonny remains in his own home, tormented about losing both Carly and Morgan. Nelle is there, trying her best to comfort him. Julian (William deVry) then paid a visit with a flower arrangement, almost taunting the grieving Sonny. Nelle ends up coming to his rescue. It seems like Nelle is willing to do anything she can to help Sonny. Is this the beginning of their closeness?
On the other hand, Curtis (Donnell Turner) starts questioning TJ (Tequan Richmond) in hopes of getting proof that Sonny was the one who set the bomb. TJ make some wrong assumptions despite the fact that he was the one who saw Morgan in Julian's car.
