'Pokémon Sun And Moon' Anime New Trailer Reveals Alola Region Adventures; Ash To Meet New Friends And Pokémon

"Pokémon Sun And Moon" just released a new trailer for its upcoming anime series last Friday and fans could not help but anticipate Ash's new adventures.

The official "Pokémon" YouTube channel teased a new promotional video for the "Pokémon Sun & Moon" TV anime series a few days ago. In the said video, it was revealed that the upcoming anime will debut on TV Tokyo and its affiliated stations in Japan on November 17. It was also noted that the pilot episode will be an hour long special.

The new trailer of "Pokémon Sun And Moon" features Ash (Satoshi) narrating the video, saying he is about to begin his adventure in the Alola region. There, it is expected that he will meet new friends and Pokémon. His new abilities are also anticipated.

According to reports, "Pokémon Sun And Moon" will feature new Pokémon and characters. It was also revealed that Ash will encounter Kapu Kokeko, a god who protects the Alola region. In a recent report here in iTech Post, it was announced that "Pokémon Sun and Moon" will feature Ash as a student and that the series will follow his school activities and his goal to graduate.

It was also reported that in the new anime series, Ash will use the new Z-Moves in battle, the same ability that players can use in the upcoming game of the same title. In the first trailer released for "Pokémon Sun And Moon," Ash can be seen wearing a Z-Ring and doing the dance with Pikachu to perform the Z-Move.

Z-Moves are a new technique introduced in the "Pokémon" games wherein each Pokémon will be able to upgrade one of their moves using the Z-Stone. To date, there are only two types of Z-Moves confirmed - the type-specific Z-Stone and a species-specific Z-Stone.

Aside from the anime series, "Pokémon Sun and Moon" will also get a game and manga version. The said manga version will be titled "Pokémon Horizon" and will be part of the October issue of Shogakukan's Coro Coro Comics.
