Sony has announced a brand new update for its Remote Play feature. The update will be for the PlayStation Vita. Per reports, "God of War Collection" and "Shadow of the Colossus/ICO" are now available for Remote Play on the PS Vita.
For the uninitiated, the Remote Play feature offers the ability to interact remotely with the PS3 using the Vita via Wi-Fi. A host of games take advantage of this feature, allowing users to play those games on their PS Vita. What's more, users will not have to pay a single dime to play the games.
The "God of War Collection," one of the two aforementioned games, features the two classic titles "God of War" and "God of War II", which have been re-mastered in HD. As far as "ICO and Shadow Of The Colossus Collection" is concerned, the game is now available and features two of the most highly-admired games of all time and is re-mastered in HD.
Both game collections, according to the official page, now have a perceptive new control system where users can choose to have the R2 and L2 buttons mapped in rear touch pad (which will need some getting used to).
However, to access the Remote Play functionality for both "God of War Collection" and "ICO and Shadow Of The Colossus Collection," users will need to download a patch on their PS3.
