Activision boasts one of the most promising and exciting game franchises of all time - the "Call of Duty" series. However, this popularity has already shown its negative impact on the upcoming "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2." Per reports, the impending game's development build has already been hacked and leaked.
A YouTube user, IHc James, recently released a video (that has been taken down since), showing that he had hacked the game. The video showcased the yet-to-be-released gameplay, and although the game has another couple of months before it finally hits the store shelves, the new video nearly made it impossible to believe that this is the actual game.
"It's rather concerning to see that the game hasn't even reached "gold" status yet and has already been leaked and modded on a console. It's likely that the hacker has an alpha or early beta version of the game, but this doesn't bode well for Treyarch and Activision," the Stick Skills report stated.
What's more, Activision has also confirmed the video, stating, "The video posted is from a development demo build, using developer tools meant for testing. The retail build was never accessed or compromised."
The video is currently being removed from other Web sites, but can be download from here.
