‘Once Upon A Time’ Season 6, Episode 5 Spoilers: Is Regina's Death The Only Way To Take Down The Evil Queen?

"Once Upon a Time" season 6, episode 5 will be a major turnaround as Regina is teased to die as the only way to take down the Evil Queen. After learning the twist in Dr. Hyde and Jekyll's lore last Sunday, Oct. 16, it turned out it might cost them Regina's life in exchange of defeating the enemy.

Killing Regina To Kill The Evil Queen

Upon Hook's (Colin O'Donoghue) killing Dr. Jekyll (Hank Harris) by a spear in the heart to save Belle (Emilie de Ravin), they learned that Mr. Hyde (Sam Winter) is linked to his life as they both died. To kill the alter-ego, they concluded, means killing the original. Thus, they found out the secret of Regina and the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla).

Regina now is in danger of losing her life as everyone is after the Evil Queen. In fact, she is offering her life to be sacrificed just so the wicked villain be killed as well. Considering Regina's significant role in the show, is there a way that showrunners will kill off the character?

Possible Means For Regina To Survive

According to speculations, on the other hand, there will be other possible means in the story that Regina might be able to get away with the curse of killing herself when the Evil Queen is taken down.

Evil Queen Does Not Know Yet

This secret they just discovered remains a secret. The Evil Queen do not know anything about this yet. If she happens to know about it in the future, chances are she will have her hands on everyone's neck. Would the queen be able to dominate in this time of need? Or can Hook find a way to get away with the curse without killing Regina?

Rumple Gets More Vicious

Meanwhile, Rumple (Robert Carlyle) gets to his more vicious side in the next episode. After failed attempts of winning back Belle, Rumple will be trying force and threat. Will this work for Belle?

"Once Upon a Time" airs Sundays at 8 p.m. CST on ABC.
