Another "Suits" actor, Gabriel Macht, is reported to be leaving the show, just after Gina Torres has officially exited and premiered in HBO's newest series "Westworld". The cast of "Suits", particularly Patrick J Adams, admits missing Torres after seeing her character's debut in her new series.
Gabriel Macht plays the role of Harvey Specter and is not just considered to be the show's pillars but is also its producer. If the rumors are true, seeing his character leave the show will certainly affect its rating, storyline and possibly production for his role as producer. Showrunners have yet to confirm the rumors.
Meanwhile, Adams reveals the cast misses Gina Torres in the show. In her character's debut in "Westworld", the actor tweets "Gina Torres jumping into 'Westworld' episode 3. Makes me miss her something fierce," and says her new show is lucky to have her.
It can be remembered that Torres' character left the show when she realized she no longer wants to be a corporate lawyer. She then decided to leave the firm and left with her love, Jeff Malone played by D.B. Woodside, to Chicago. Her character is recalled saying "I forgot why I became a lawyer in the first place and it wasn't just to fight for money and power,"
Adams has always been vocal about the cast' feelings when Torres left the show. Just two days after the finale was aired, Adams said "Working with Ms. Gina Torres was one of the highlights of my career thus far," in his Instagram account. "She is the epitome. The top. The boss. Always." he adds.
"Suits" Season 6 is scheduled to air in January of 2017 and is expected to bring it excellent ratings which should soon confirm another season for the series. Season 6 is said to fix the gaps between the lawyers after Torres' character decided to leave.
