It is equipped with a new feature that determines cheaper tickets. The users can still access the flight searching tool from their phones. It is especially targeted to those who travel often.

The update will work such that the user will be notified about the price of the flight. The notification will contain the time when the current fare will expire. It will also specify the amount the user can save upon immediate booking.
It will also offer users to find the best price for a certain route. People who are undecided in choosing a flight can access tips. It includes suggestions for alternate airports or dates.
Users will also be informed about priced jumps. Tapping the card will enable the person to see the increase in price and the date when it occurs. The said fare expiration and expected price jump notifications will be rolling out over the coming weeks.
Aside from searching for flights, the user can also track and manage saved flights on the go.

Hotel Search
Another good capability of the Google Flights is the fact that it helps in looking for the best hotel deals. Hotels with lower prices are already labeled as deals. It can be simply accessed by tapping on the upper left to filter for Deals.
Loyalty members will also be notified of the availability of savings through the hotel's website.
Competition With Hopper
According to TechCrunch, the updated features is putting the tech company in more direct competition with Hopper. The said travel startup offers the same quality services as the Google Flights. It is user interface friendly. Hopper plans to expand into international travel with its $16 million additional funding.
