After the unveiling of Pokemon Sun and Moon's demo in Nintendo 3D's eShop, major spoilers of the game have been already making rounds online. Trusted Pokemon sources say that included in the special preview of the Sun and Moon are files containing new pokemon characters, final evolution of starters and for some reason, the entire game's Pokedex.
Pokemon Sun and Moon Leaks: Pokedex, Alola Forms, Pokemon List
A lot of new Pokemon will be seen, including several starter evolution packs that most gamers have been introduced to in the previous footage and trailers. Most of the characters in the demo are "Shinies," which are versions of Pokemon in rare colors.
Pikipek, a bird-type Pokemon will evolve into what seems like a toucan. Also, the leak reveals the first glimpse at the Alola form of Persian, Meowth's evolution. In addition there are about eight Ultra-Beasts revealed in the demo.
According to one of the major Pokemon sources, Kaphotics, the Pokedex contains around 800 pokemon, of which others where not shown in the gameplay video.
Given the complete leaks, it seems reasonable that most gamers will not be expecting Alolan forms of newer generations. Fans can only expect to see old favorites in new forms, making it clear that the game is basically a nostalgia play.
As previously reported here on iTechPost, Pokemon X and Y details have also been leaked prior to launch, including the map and mega evolutions.
Curiously, the same might have happened for Pokemon Sun and Moon as Game Freak released its demo yesterday. For Pokemon fans, now is a good time to stay away from any Pokemon updates as the rest of the Sun and Moon surprises might be spoiled. Not only have been its demo getting data mined, hackers are also figuring out how to break in the game.
