‘Supernatural’ Season 12, Episode 2 Spoilers & Cast News: Rick Springfield Finally Appears As Lucifer; Is He Turning To Be A Regular?

"Supernatural" season 12, episode 2 spoilers have Crowley in search for Lucifer, and as soon as he finds the fallen angel, he will discover his greater power. In the upcoming episode, Lucifer is bound to begin his journey to destroy.

Lucifer: "The Devil You Don't Know"

Following "Supernatural" season 12's successful premiere last Oct. 13, fans must be excited to welcome Lucifer, played by guest star Rick Springfield, as he comes back. In the video teaser for episode 2 titled "Mamma Mia," Lucifer is described as "the devil you don't know."

The plot synopsis of the episode stated that Lucifer possessed the body of rock star Vince Vicente. Meanwhile, there have been rumors that Springfield might turn out to be a regular soon considering his character's major involvement in the show's plot. Even so, this rumor has not been officially confirmed until now.

Castiel Partners Up With Crowley

According to reports, Lucifer becomes stronger now. In the following episode, it is teased already that Lucifer will be able to escape from the hands of the hunters. As Castiel (Misha Collins) sets out to hunt for the fallen angel, he will partner up with Crowley (Mark A. Sheppard) along the way.

Mary Winchester As "A Badass Hunter"

Fans must have been compelled to watch how Mary Winchester's resurrection will put a different show, and how she will fare with her big boys after they lost her when they were kids. Mary had been to heaven for 30 years. In a video teaser released by The CW, her co-star Collins revealed that Mary will be "a badass hunter."

Pilot Episode Recap: Dean And Mary Rescue Sam

In the pilot episode, Lady Toni Bevell (Elizabeth Blackmore) had Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki) beaten as he declined to give her the information that she wanted. Dean (Jensen Ackles), Mary and Castiel set out to rescue Sam.

"Supernatural" season 12 airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on The CW.
